Use the Appointment Event Billing Extract background job

You can use the Appointment Event Billing Extract background job to extract appointment and truck visit appointment events according to a schedule, automatically. Use the ROADBILLING002 (BILLING_EXTRACT_FREQUENCY_IN_MINUTES) (on page 1) setting to create the schedule for the Appointment Event Billing Extract background job.

To extract appointment and truck visit appointment events using the Appointment Event Billing Extract background job:

1. In the Administration System Background Jobs view, click Actions.

2. Select the Launch Appointment Event Billing Extract option to start the Appointment Event Billing Extract background job.

The Appointment Event Billing Extract for <operator> background job displays in the list view. N4 adds the name of the operator in the current scope to the Appointment Event Billing Extract background job name.

Notes

• Only one record per appointment exists in the Chargeable Appointment Events view. Each time you select an appointment in the Appointments view or in the Truck Visit Appointments view and select Actions Extract Events, N4 updates the existing record in the Chargeable Appointment Events view.

• Once started, N4 executes the Appointment Event Billing Extract job at the frequency specified in the ROADBILLING002 (BILLING_EXTRACT_FREQUENCY_IN_MINUTES) (on page 1) setting.
